Evidence-first health and life guidance for women 30+

Policy

Terms of use

Effective July 11, 2026

By using The Her Shift, you agree to these terms. They’re written to be read, not to hide things.

1. Educational content, not medical advice

Everything on this site — articles, tools, the navigator, the planner — is educational information. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment; it does not create a clinician–patient relationship; and it must not be used as a substitute for evaluation by a qualified professional who knows your history. Never disregard or delay professional medical advice because of something you read here. Our full health disclaimer is part of these terms.

2. Emergencies

This website cannot help you in an emergency. If you may be experiencing one, call 911 or your local emergency number. For a mental-health crisis in the U.S., call or text 988.

3. Using our work

The articles, design, and original artwork on this site belong to The Her Shift. You’re welcome to link to any page, quote brief passages with attribution, and print pages (like planner output) for personal use. Republishing whole articles, scraping the site for commercial datasets, or presenting our work as your own requires written permission via hello@example.com.

4. Local tools

Saved articles and planner notes are stored in your own browser (see the privacy policy). They are provided as-is; browsers can clear local storage, so download or print anything you can’t afford to lose.

5. Accuracy and changes

We work hard at accuracy — sourcing rules, verification dates, public corrections — but medical knowledge and regulatory status change, and no publisher catches everything. Content is provided “as is” without warranties of completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Her Shift is not liable for decisions made in reliance on site content. We may update content and these terms at any time; the effective date above reflects the latest revision.
